This week, the much buzzed-about LG Development project, Wolf & Company, celebrated its grand opening in the Trailhead Apartments, just off the 606’s Bloomingdale Trail in Bucktown.
A partnership with Sol Ashbach, Gus Lappas, and Ankur Joshi (owners of Little Bad Wolf, The Good Wolf, and Gretel), the sprawling 10,000 square foot, two-level space — which includes a restaurant, bar, coffee shop, and grocery store with deli counter and butcher shop — is the only private business with direct access to the Trail, complete with a parallel patio space.
Ashbach shared that the project has been envisioned as a “one-stop shop” for residents of Bucktown and nearby communities.
“This allows people to have a place to meet up and get a cup of coffee, grab a quick lunch, or take an evening walk and get a full dinner, or if they want … to do a little grocery shopping,” he said.
Wolf & Company’s cafe is open at 7am daily, with lunch service starting at 11am. The bar and restaurant will be open until midnight during the week, and close at 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
