


Assistant Project Manager
LG Construction
Key Responsibilities Include
- Organization of all project documents per company standards; proactive administration of reviewing and processing all submittal data and shop drawings to ensure project schedules are expedited and materials are delivered on time
- Complete sub evaluations/comparisons of bids, scope review, and complete buyout of project
- Distribute all short interval and overall project schedules, ensure subcontractors have the most up to date scopes of work and assist PM in the development of the overall project schedule
- Collect and distribute coordination drawings from appropriate subcontractors, review drawings with PM and Superintendent, set up coordination meetings
- Ensure all clarification/changes, directives, RFI’s, etc. are updated on the as-built drawings and are fully coordinated with the project team
Requirements, Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, and negotiation skills
- Highly organized with ability to prioritize various tasks and manage time efficiently
- Strong computer skills
- Microsoft Office Suite required, Sage 300 & Procore strongly preferred
- Detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to review drawings and specifications to identify long lead times and critical path items
Project Manager
Key Responsibilities Include
- Assist in ensuring project estimates are accurate and complete, participate in meetings to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
- Develop or assist in developing final project budget including hard and soft costs
- Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors
- Facilitate contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and schedule
- Track and manage project financials and the draw process, ensure profitability, report findings
- Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors
- Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule
- Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential issues, delays, liabilities, or risks
- Manage subcontractor relationship through consistent communication and follow up regarding scheduling, invoicing, change orders, etc.
- Manage contractual responsibilities of subcontractors and hold accountable as needed
- Schedule and facilitate project team and client meetings to successfully coordinate work
- Responsible for maintaining a positive and productive relationship with the client throughout the project by communicating professionally, managing expectations, and addressing concerns
- Continuously look for ways to streamline and improve internal systems & processes
Requirements, Qualifications & Competencies

Superintendent
Key Responsibilities Include
- Manage subcontractors on site to maximize efficiency and ensure they meet contractual obligations and complete entire scope of work – including maintaining cleanliness, safety procedures, and staffing
- Examine contract drawings and specifications for design deficiencies, impractical details and possible code violations, and bring these to the attention of the Project Manager for review with the Architect
- Cooperate with, and direct when necessary, the activities of inspection agencies, and to effect remedial actions indicated by the reports of these agencies
- Chair weekly coordination and safety meetings with subcontractors and issue minutes to project team
- Ensure that all required permits and/or licenses have been obtained and are renewed as needed
- Directly manage and supervise the performance of internal labor force on site
- Assist project team in creating initial project schedule, subcontractor scopes, and budgets
- Study project plans and specifications to identify elements likely to affect constructability prior to construction start and determine appropriate construction methods, courses of action
- Create and issue 2-week look-aheads to project team, subcontractors, and clients regularly
- Update and maintain project schedule throughout the project, ensure team is aware of changes
- Report all potential schedule delays to project team and mitigate delays by monitoring the progress of construction activities on site daily and holding weekly status meetings
- Daily inspection of construction site to monitor safety compliance and enforce company and OSHA requirements
- Oversee and inspect work in place and as it is performed against plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and highest level of craftsmanship is achieved
- Document all daily activity on site daily and issue weekly field reports
