Role Summary:
The Assistant Project Manager role is a key source of support for the success of LG-Group’s construction projects. They assist with the planning, coordinating financials and contracts, and are critical to the successful outcome of our projects. Communication and organization are two key qualities of a successful APM. In this role there will be collaboration between a project’s subcontractors, internal teams, as well as other vendors. If you enjoy being a person that wears many hats and works on exciting, dynamic projects this is the role for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Organization of all project documents per company standards; proactive administration of reviewing and processing all submittal data and shop drawings to ensure project schedules are expedited and materials are delivered on time
- Complete sub evaluations/comparisons of bids, scope review, and complete buyout of project
- Distribute all short interval and overall project schedules, ensure subcontractors have the most up to date scopes of work and assist PM in the development of the overall project schedule
- Collect and distribute coordination drawings from appropriate subcontractors, review drawings with PM and Superintendent, set up coordination meetings
- Ensure all clarification/changes, directives, RFI’s, etc. are updated on the as-built drawings and are fully coordinated with the project team
Qualifications for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, and negotiation skills
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize various tasks and manage time efficiently
- Strong computer skills
- Microsoft Office Suite required, Sage 300 & Procore strongly preferred
- Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to review drawings and specifications to identify long lead times and critical path item

Construction Project Manager

Role Summary:
The Project Manager role is a key leader and essential component to the success of LG Group’s projects. They manage the project’s financials, contracts, procurement and all essential items needed for a project to move forward. A PM at LG-Group has experience producing quality work and can proactively identify potential gaps and bottlenecks in the plan. A knack for process improvement and system creation are strong indicators of success. The Project manager requires keen attention to detail and a steadfast belief in seeing a project through from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Assist in ensuring project estimates are accurate and complete, participate in meetings to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
- Develop or assist in developing final project budget including hard and soft costs
- Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors
- Facilitate contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and schedule
- Track and manage project financials and the draw process, ensure profitability, report findings
- Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors
- Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule
- Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential issues, delays, liabilities, or risks
- Manage subcontractor relationship through consistent communication and follow up regarding scheduling, invoicing, change orders, etc.
- Manage contractual responsibilities of subcontractors and hold accountable as needed
- Schedule and facilitate project team and client meetings to successfully coordinate work
- Responsible for maintaining a positive and productive relationship with the client throughout the project by communicating professionally, managing expectations, and addressing concerns
- Continuously look for ways to streamline and improve internal systems & processes
Qualifications for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering strongly preferred
- Ability to review drawings and specifications required
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, and negotiation skills
- Highly organized with ability to prioritize various tasks and manage time efficiently

Superintendent

Role Summary:
Reporting to the VP of Construction, a Superintendent is the leader of the job site ensuring that all tradespeople, subcontractors, and staff are on schedule. They garner buy-in and lead the project forward through setbacks. A Superintendent must have keen attention to detail, to identify issues or potential bottlenecks in a plan and adjust accordingly. They are master communicators able to speak to a variety of stakeholders. They are critical thinkers who can make large scale work plans and coordinate tasks to different teams on the job site. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on collaboration and accountability seeing a job through from pre-con to completion.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist in ensuring project estimates are accurate and complete, participate in meetings to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
- Manage the project schedule utilizing Procore and Microsoft Project, ensuring all trades are moving forward according to the project timeline
- Manage subcontractor relationships through consistent communication and follow up regarding scheduling, change orders, and RFI’s
- Identify potential bottlenecks and gaps and work proactively to find resolutions while continuing to meet project deadlines including potential delays, liabilities, or risks
- Serve as main point of contact for all on site details including quality assurance, safety, and oversight of all subcontractors on site
- Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential issues, delays, liabilities, or risks
- Responsible for maintaining a positive and productive relationship with the client throughout the project by communicating professionally, managing expectations, and addressing concerns
- Continuously look for ways to streamline and improve internal system, job site productivity, and safety processes
Qualifications for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- 3 years serving as a construction site superintendent or similar roles
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize various tasks and manage time efficiently
- Strong communication skills with varying stakeholders
- Microsoft Office Suite required, Microsoft Project & Procore strongly preferred
- Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to review drawings and specifications to identify long lead times and critical path item

Accounting Coordinator
Role Summary:
Our Accounting Coordinator will work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager to develop and expand our accounting support function and AP process. The Accounting Team at LG Group is a critical function that collaborates with all aspects of our company.
The ideal candidate has a background that is focused in customer service, a general knowledge of the AP process as well as general bookkeeping and accounting practices. They are entrepreneurial with a knack for organization and communication and most of all they are eager to learn and grow.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting with the company’s AP Process
- Communicating with employees to ensure documentation is received correctly and on time
- Working with external vendors on various requests which include but are not limited to invoice processing, accommodation and lodging requests, resolving invoicing discrepancies
- Develop a working knowledge of our company’s internal accounting system
- Ad Hoc requests and project work as needed

Asset Management Associate
Role Summary:
Our Asset Management Associate will work closely with the Director of Asset Management to develop and expand our Asset Management strategy. LG Group owns a variety of luxury multi-unit residential properties, this role will provide analytical and organizational support as the portfolio grows.
The ideal candidate has a background in Asset or property management. They are entrepreneurial with a knack for organization and communication and most of all they are eager to learn and grow.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide analytical and organizational support to the Asset Management Team for leasing, budgeting, finance, and operations
- Analyze efficiencies and identify value enhancement opportunities for assets
- Prepare asset management meeting agendas, key performance indicator reports and other analyses
- Liaison with 3rd party property management companies
- Assist in the preparation of strategic capital plans
- Negotiate commercial leases
- Inspect properties to ensure quality standards are met
- Complete comp reports
- Stay current on multifamily housing trends
- Manage capital projects
